Morris Animal Foundation is accepting proposals for Established Investigator, First Award, Fellowship Training and Pilot Study grants on topics relevant to feline or canine health.
The mission of the Foundation is to bridge science and resources to advance the health of animals. We welcome proposals on any topic that advances feline or canine health.
This cycle, additional funding is also available for proposals pertaining to:
- All aspects of heart disease in Doberman pinschers.
- Appropriate dosing of CBD-rich hemp oil used for pain management in dogs.
- Prevention, treatment and diagnosis of heartworm disease in cats and/or dogs.
Proposals pertaining to these special areas of interest are still evaluated and ranked with the main pool of proposals.
Researchers are reminded that feline and canine proposals do not compete against each other for funding and are reviewed as well as funded separately.
Proposals are due Wednesday, March 13, 2019, by 11:59 p.m. EST. To learn more about each of these grant types and the application process, visit the Apply For a Grant page of the Foundation's website.
Please note that this call for proposals is only for Established Investigator, First Award, Fellowship Training and Pilot Studies relating to feline or canine health. |
